Race for Grace 2026: A Celebration of Grit, Glory, and Grace
The Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy (KRTC) successfully concluded its premier annual fundraising event, the 2026 Race for Grace Gala, on Monday, April 27, 2026. Hosted at the prestigious First Turn Club at Churchill Downs right in the heart of Derby Week, the event brought together horse racing enthusiasts, community leaders, and devoted supporters to champion the unsung heroes of the backstretch.
This year’s gala centered around a powerful theme: Grit, Glory, and Grace—celebrating the relentless morning work in the barns, the thrill of the finish line, and the vital spiritual support that carries the backside community through it all.
