COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted
Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy is hosting a golf tournament on Monday afternoon, July 12, 2021 at the California Golf Course in Cincinnati, Ohio to benefit the Chaplaincy at Belterra Park Race Track. The format is a four-person scramble which will start at 12:30 with a shotgun start. The entry fee is $100 per player. There are hole sponsorships available for $250 which includes signage on the hole and recognition for the sponsor in the program. Each sponsored hole for long drive, closest to the pin and long putt will feature a $100 prize to the winning golfer. The form for entries and sponsorships can be downloaded to print at the home page of the Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy website (https://kychaplaincy.org). Year-round, interdenominational ministry services for race track workers
Chaplains began serving at Kentucky race tracks about 50 years ago with the founding in 1972 of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America, a non-profit interdenominational organization. As the ministry grew, the Kentucky division of the chaplaincy was formally established in 1989. Today, the interdenominational ministry has chaplains serving at Churchill Downs, Ellis Park, Turfway Park, Kentucky Downs and Belterra Park (Southern Ohio) race tracks as well as various thoroughbred training centers in Kentucky.Get Involved
