There are several ways to get involved with our ministry. Providing for and ministering to our Kentucky Race Track communities takes a team of volunteers, supporters and people out promoting our mission.
The Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy relies on the generosity of donors to fund chaplains’ ministry and outreach. It is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization, thus permitting donations to be tax deductible. To support the ministry’s work, please make your check payable to “KRTC” and mail to P.O. Box 324, Simpsonville, KY 40067. You can also donate securely online using PayPal.
Have a question about volunteering or otherwise helping the ministry at one of the race tracks? Please contact our chaplains listed below or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Churchill Downs: Chaplain Ken Boehm at 502.439.0009
Turfway Park: Chaplain Doug Eldridge at 859.393.7756
Ellis Park: Chaplain Ron Crawford at 812.483.3590
A good way to keep updated about the activities of the Chaplaincy is to “follow” us on Facebook. To find our page, search “Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy” in the Facebook search bar. The page primarily focuses on the year around activities at Churchill Downs. Activities at Turfway Park and Ellis Park are also featured from time to time, during each track’s racing season.
Turfway Park and Ellis Park also have their own pages, which can be found by searching “Turfway Park Chaplaincy Team” and “Ellis Park Chaplaincy Team” on Facebook.
